I would now like to go on to something of more importance. I just found out yesterday that Dean Dill was diagnosed with Cancer. This came as quite a shock to me as he is a dear friend of mine. I do not know what kind of cancer he has but I do know that it is serious. He is going to need chemo therapy and possibly surgery.
I talked to Paul Gross who runs the Hocus Pocus web site and he is running a site for donations for Dean's hospital bills which could be considerable. He has insurance but it cuts out at 10,000 and his family is in dire need of help.
If you want to, you can go to sales@hocus.pocus.com and make a contribution of whatever you can. Even a dollar would help. Anyone who knows Dean knows what a kind and wonderful man he is. I feel that as a brother magician, we should all help out with whatever we can afford.
